Racism, one of the most important and relentless tender evils throughout the world today, is on the rise in varied ways. Whether talking about cultural cleansings, ethnic conflicts, group animosity, feisty discrimination, or denial of fair play laws under the sanctimony of justice, the primary result is the same. One group exercises social, economic, political, religious, and physical muscleman against the other to retain honor and social benefit. Dr. Caleb Rosado, a sociologist and an educator, states that racism is not a problem; it is a symptom of a problem (Rosado, 1998). He went further saying, prejudice, discrimination, concerns for diversity are not social problems; they are social symptoms of a larger problem (Rosado 1998).
 Where does racism come from? Mark Carroll, an author, believes racism has three major roots. First it comes from a belief that muckle are different based on cultural background (Carroll, 2004). Most sight feel this way. Genetically we are all different. Since our ancestry determines genetics, people must be different based on culture.



 Second, racism comes from people who believe that we as individuals are completely obdurate by our environment; therefore our fathers were racists so we must be racists because we grew up in that environment (Carroll, 2004). Surprisingly many better people believe that individuals have very little alternative with regard to their behavior that somehow they are victims of society and should not be held accountable for their actions. The third element is forced bridal of cultural values as important (Carroll, 2004). People cannot be forced to like others heritage, value those who characterize it, or keep the differences, which distinguish their culture from all others; they must choose to do so on their own. The more you push, the more you push aside (Carroll, 2004).
