The Life of a hard worker During the 1800s
knuckle downry was a very important effect during the 1800s. numerous slave owners believed that thrall was the main source of obtaining more wealth. Slave owners too had in mind that with the more slaves they posses the further they would be commensurate to plant and grow. Which in fact slave owners were non wrong, the more slaves they had on their plantations the extra they will be able cultivate each year. However, at one point slavery was abolished in one side were as in the rough different side it was still approve. Certain slaves did not have a great life they were not creation treated as they deserve. Slaves were often hurt, not given enough food and were being disordered from their loved ones. Where as other slaves were living lives with a little bit more freedom and benefits. For instance some of the slaves had the opportunity to have families, their own plantations, and provide their children with education. In the check Uncle Toms confine, Voices of the American Past, and on Liberty, Equality, Power a History of the American People slavery was somehow followed under the same idea. Blacks were considered slaves, they did not have enough rights, and they were considered less than whites (3/5 of a person).



In conclusion slaves lived different lives, some slaves suffered more than other slaves and other slaves did not suffer at all.
In the book Uncle Toms Cabin we were able to find many important facts that explained the lives of slaves more in detail. Slaves were unfortunately able to be separated from their loved ones without them having the efficacy to do nothing. Slaves had to do what ever their master wished. However, as it was convey in Uncle Toms cabin that there were also a couple of masters whom believed that families were not to be separated from each other.
