Amendment XIV: Section 1, has helped many multitude receive the respect and equality that they deserve. Now, in our modern society, men and women, black and white, or religious and nonreligious are all equal. The idea of equality and self-importance comes from the Judeo-Christians, and has affected peoples thoughts about themselves and others.
